Espresso is a test framework used to write Android UI tests, and part of the Android SDK. The Espresso API encourages test authors to think in terms of what a user might do while interacting with the application - locating UI elements and interacting with them. At the same time, the framework prevents direct access to activities and views of the application because holding on to these objects and operating on them off the UI thread is a major source of test flakiness.

If you manage an Apple fleet, Mosyle is great value and and easy to use tool. I've used several MDM providers and by far Mosyle is a great partner to work with. Payload's are easy to create and they have a great graphic showing what the status of your payload deployment is

As Espresso works on the ideal thread if the threads are not handled properly by the developing team it can lead to challenges in the execution of your tests.
Depends more on the developer's code
we cannot develop tests as individual frameworks, we share the repository with developers.

Price points. When they first started, they were definitely less expensive than other options. Now they are about in-line once you get to Fuse and compare to other options.

It's completely hosted in the cloud, the dashboard is easy to navigate and powerful to use. I don't have much time to poke around in different tools, but I'm rarely frustrated logging into Mosyle and getting the job done. I usually have positive vibes when using Mosyle for management. No massive UI overhauls, but still changes to include new features.

As our app is complete on Android Espresso is the best choice over Appium Fewer efforts in Espresso over Appium, as Espresso provides some built-in library to perform the operation. Easy to use, Espresso is very easy to understand and we can perform operations with very little code. Developers can contribute, as they have good command over Java and Kotin languages and also use Espresso for unit testing.

Mosyle's cost is something that has these other vendors beat. On top of that, the feature set and ease of use is by far the biggest reason why someone with an Apple fleet should use Mosyle

When we were using Mosyle it was a joy to work with and use. I'd switch back if I didn't already have a full MDM environment up and running.
Mosyle development and support are responsive. When I first set this up, I made a feature request that I had ready for use within a 3-hour turn around.
