FingerCheck vs. Tactic

Its good for a company that wants employees to see their available PTO and request it themselves. it's easy for each employee to clock in and out. The supervisors can have access to all their employees and see who is working at any given moment. It's a pretty good system.

Tactic is beneficial for every company who have just enough workplace stations. Most specially if the shifts of the employees are different. It helps every employee to have a seat plan and find availability for their current shift. The map that is shown in the website is also helpful as it is very user-friendly.

• Exception handeling
• Automatic email reports
• Integrates very well with payroll system
• Extremely well in working out employee benefit accruals

• We use Tactic to reserve computer stations every shift.
• It counts how many users are logged in.
• It shows the available stations that can be used.

• It can be hard to tell when the last time your PTO was updated.
• If you forget to clock in - you need a supervisor to approve your request.

• There are times that is load slowly.
• It only allows us to log in at a certain period of time, like an hour before the reserved time period and sometimes I am earlier than that.
• There are some unexpected errors that we frequently encounter while using the website. It is very often, but happens more than once.

We have only been using Tactic since I was hired here, so I am not able to compare it with other products. It is beneficial as it helps us work more effectively and efficiently. Moreover, it also counts how many users are logged in and the available stations as well.

• Increased employee efficiency.

• It helps make the workplace more organized, thus helping us to work well.
• It helps us find available stations to use, thus we are able to work on time.
• Work is much more effective and efficient because we have our seat plans every shift period.
