IBM InfoSphere Optim vs. OpenText Email Archiving and Management

Optim is especially recommended for those companies that have their own or third-party development teams that must be provided with a complete data environment to test the applications. Optim is not recommended for use as an ETL or Data Integration tool.

The OpenText Email Archiving and Management solution allows us to centrally manage all of your mailboxes, including PSTs, MSG files, and EMLs. Before implementing this solution, we had several different tools that struggled to work across platforms. It is a great email archiving and management tool for any business no matter its size. It's extremely user-friendly for the everyday employee and the tech support team is fantastic.

• It Reduces the risk of email tampering or illegal destruction.

• Optim can save companies a lot of money by protecting the sensitive data found in their databases, thus avoiding the theft of real customer information with the economic and media impact that this has.
