Infor Nexus vs. Truckstop Load Board

It is good in integrating with multiple 3rd party service providers to create a single source of truth. It does not have user friendly GUI that delays in getting the information required by the user. Any new requirements always need investment and time to develop. It allows user to create report template and schedule reports to personal email that help to save time.

Truckstop can be used as a goto Loadboard for instant rates but the data is becoming less reliable. It’s needs to be worked on.

• Allows connectivity of EDI with 3rd party forwarder to transmit shipment data and milestones against the shipments
• Choosing the most economical and quickest routing for a purchase order
• Allows integration with SAP, Oracle, external service providers easily to make single source of truth for the operational information

• GUI is not as user friendly as it should be, and a training is required
• Filtering of shipments are not easy and intuitive to user, and it is a bit problematic to find details when a limited information is available to search
• Creating new methodology of report template require new development which require investment

• Too many windows open to check details of a load
• old loads are not taken down for days
• Screen is not as friendly as other load boards
• Not easy on the eyes...too busy

It is better in integration with 3rd party service providers and quick turn around time and dedicated error resolution in receiving the data. We had inhouse SME from Infor Nexus team which allows quick development cycle and faster implementation. It allows visibility of milestones which is not available in SAP TM.

123loadboard and Power DAT are used by us as well. 123loadboard for Canada. Truckstop and PowerDAT for US.

• It definitely creates value and enables user to reduce turn around time for reporting
• It helps to reduces the resources used to create manual reports with high data accuracy
• Implementation of Control Tower required investment more than $250k with ROI 23% within the first year and break even at 3.5 years
