LevelBlue MailMarshal vs. Proton Mail

In a medium company, it is suited since the cost can be high for a smaller one.

I think there are better and more complete products for companies with higher volume or levels of confidentiality. While it is a good product, today there are several that exceed it in quality and functionality.

Good if you like privacy and not having your data mined for advertizing and AI training.

• By having the physical appliance, it is more granular the control that is had of the users, which also accelerates the speed of detection of threats.
• The few options of DLP that it has are very useful when filtering sensitive data, but I stress "few".
• The interface is intuitive, but for more advanced options, it requires a higher than average knowledge of these systems.

• Secure encrypted email hosting
• Connection with Outlook works well
• Works well on all platforms: web, Windows, MacOS, Android, iOS
• Low monthly cost for email plus all the associated apps

• I know it is not a DLP since there is another specific product for it, but they could do it just a little easier for the average user.
• An intuitive interface in a broader aspect, not only in the basic functions.
• The option only in the cloud is good, but only the appliance offers all the functionalities.

• Exporting email (which I like to do for archiving) is awkward and slow.
• Proton Mail Bridge (which allows access from other email readers like Outlook) sometimes has synchronization issues. Lately these just resolve themselves.

Mostly intuitive and easy to use. A bit harder if you stick with two passwords (one for the account and one for the encryption).

Unfortunately all these products are better in almost all aspects. It is not to discredit the Trustwave, but they have much to improve in this area.

Proton had a wider offering of products like vpn and drive. I ended up paying for a yearly subscription, I liked it so much.
