Logility vs. New Horizon Supply Chain Planning Suite

How well the system is going to match with the company's business.

New Horizon Supply Chain Planning Suite is a very user-friendly system which gives you the latitude to change your forecasting models based on the product and sales trends. It is also very easy to export and import data to transfer information to and from Excel files as it uses an Excel like platform. Therefore, it gives you the control to be able to control your forecast where needed due to sales promotions or loss of sales distribution.

• When switching back and forth from worksheets and sub-worksheets you can lose your place because it does not always go back to the same place.

Need more time to prove that the system really helps the company.

I didn't make the decision to select Logility.

We were using Demantra systems for our forecasting needs, but as new versions became available and old versions, which we had, were discontinued we found the need to either upgrade or look for a new system. The Demantra upgrade was very costly and New Horizon fit our needs while being on the cloud, so most all of the upgrades were done behind the scenes with no down time. The implementation was a breeze, and the customer service was always there when you needed it. Overall, it was a very good choice for us to make the change.
