Logitech offers MeetUp, a video conference camera system for smaller huddle rooms.
We used to use a small Logitech USB camera/mic and the built-in speakers on the TV. The upgrade to the MeetUp was very noticeable and highly recommended. We were very impressed with the build quality of the device and the camera's ability to tilt and pan is quite impressive.
When you don´t have enough budget to have a robust conference system, this solution can help you to have good quality video conferences with excellent audio quality and video quality, and the prices of these products are not so high comparing with other brands, I think is a perfect solution for mid enterprises
Smaller conference rooms with room for about 4-6 people seems to be a sweet spot for [Logitech Meetup]. They also work well in smaller rooms where people need to move around and might use a whiteboard or something similar. Once you have a longer room or anything outside of what Logitech recommends, it still works, but the quality quickly drops and you're much better off with adding the microphones or opting for one of the other systems designed for bigger rooms.
I think the technical support of Logitech GROUP is well when you have an issue you can call them. They answer you quickly, we only use this support a couple of times, because we don´t have many problems with these devices, the performance of these devices is outstanding.
We selected Logitech GROUP because the balance cost-benefit was excellent comparing with other vendors. We tried some devices before the purchase, and we discovered that the quality of these devices is excellent, the solutions are easy to handle for end users that don´t have technical skills in general terms is a good cheap solution.
While the other cameras offer similar solutions, we found for the price to features, the meetup met our needs the best. With the trio, we had issues with Poly's software which the meetup gets around by being able to plug directly into a PC. The panacast, while it worked very well, we would have still needed to pair it with the rest of the equipment for a full experience. With the meetup, we have only needed the meetup, the PC, and an iPad as a controller.
