ManageEngine Access Manager Plus vs. Rublon

i believe the solution is needed and can be utilized if you have like multiple environment in your infrastructure (windows and linux) and you want easier and secure remote sessions for your admins. Also if you require comprehensive audit trail logs with good reporting for your audit team, it's also beneficial if you require live monitoring sessions by security department

The risk of interception or manipulation by hackers is reduced. It manages to be combined with other means of authentication, they allow the developer's software to be completed with the AMF software. The application tests the user's rights and links him to its services and data. The authentication of the interested party is one of the many keys to this process.

• Initial setup is not straight forward and could do with some simplification.
• Could do with a specific dashboard for each remote office.
• An easier way to share filters between users and menus would be useful.

• This mechanism certainly allows to protect a work site, but it can be expensive from an application point of view.
• It is unavoidable to precisely verify the user at the launch of the workstation and/or at the connection to its application using the measures of the security policy and also to show that the authentication procedure is correctly applied.

I think the solution covered a big gap we had, and we could not find a system in the market that covers the same areas with greats features availability, the solution serves three departments in our organization, the Infrastructure, Security and Audit departments, and this demonstrates how critical and beneficial it is.

i think manageengine access manager is better overall in the ease of deployment, and the fact that it had native RDP ssh and sql access from a single console.

The main thing that made the difference is that integrates with the other manage engine solutions ecosystem.

additionally i believe the overall cost was better in manage engine

A user communications neighbor serves as an immediate access gate to all applications to which the appropriate permission has been provided. The end user will simply have to have a single effectively secure signal. we get the authentication required to be able to verify a user. This provides greater fixity, speed and also efficiency of the connection.
