We selected manage engine based on preexisting relation with ManageEngine. Excellent support and large user community. Good documentations are available online. It has good NCM features which met our expectation.

Especially ManageEngine Network Configuration Management has the capability to work with many models of nodes played a major role in selecting this product over other competitors. Furthermore, we are using other ManageEngine products, too, such as PAM and Desktop Central.

It is well suited for cases we use very often in IT, which is deploying the same set of configuration across tens of network devices. By creating the template config on ManageEngine Network Configuration Management, these config can be deployed on multiple nodes at once. Backup and reporting is vital as well, in addition to the restore capabilities.

If the developers can make the initial setup more simplified, it will be great. Due to the complexity of the initial setup and tweaking, it takes more time than the planned period.
