MyCommerce vs. Odoo eCommerce

DR doesn't work well with PayPal subscriptions, renewal rate is very low. So, if company is using a subscription model it should have another payment system as a backup

Odoo eCommerce is best for a business that has to mark its presence at the very beginning, Odoo eCommerce helps a lot managing your revenues and costs at the same time as they have a full-fledged back end ERP product that serves the primary function of keeping a check on profitability and growth as a whole

• Definitely need Web-based API to manage subscription including changes in renewal date
• Add more languages (especially Arabic)
• Redirect user to PayPal directly without entering to shopping cart

DR is good enough and it also depends what's the company goals. DR solves a lot of problems for company and it saves money in some cases.

We are using Stripe as alternative solution for some categories of users and as a backup. Stripe has much more flexible API but less flexible template customization.

It's cost-friendly and easy to set up, Odoo eCommerce is open so very easy to customize and learn at the same time, and doesn't require big hardware support because of cloud availability. Don't need a big IT team to manage the product. Very user-friendly and adaptable, the aesthetics are very attractive and the data management aspect is also very great.

• Works well with credit card renewals
• Strong fraud detection system (very important)
• Doesn't work well with PayPal renewals
• High enough fee
• Overall DR is good in this area
