OpenText Information Archiving vs. Solix Enterprise Data Management Suite (Solix EDMS)

OpenText archive center is much appreciated with Data retention and encryption. Less appreciated when if you need to make changes to the system every time we need technical support from OpenText.

• Helps towards greater business agility without spending a fortune on servers and storage.

• It was a bit tough to get started so user onboarding could be improved.

At the core of Solix EDMS is the Solix Enterprise Metadata Manager which manages multiple applications metadata for all data types independent of the hardware platforms. By implementing Solix, companies will keep data growth in check and lower storage costs, and improve overall system and reporting performance.
