Shortcut vs. Sling

Shortcut is very useful to organice your teams, we use it for Devs, Sales, Marketing and Customer Support areas. Each team has different objectives but the topics where 2 or more areas are involved, is when it shines with the categorization, sub-stories and story relationships. Everyone can see the updates and progress of the stories and receive notifications so the communication between the teams flows naturally

Sling offers enough customization I can see it working in most any scheduling scenarios. The ability to build job types into each employee gives you the control to match employee skills with the need for any particular position. Time of day templates makes it easy to select various shift times.

• Ease of access for managers & employees alike.
• Sling staff always reply almost right away when I have had questions in the past.
• We love utilizing the different colors for the schedule, so it's easier to see who's what and where/when.
• Easy for staff to apply for shifts.
• Free version does everything we need it to!

As I said before Shortcut helped us to implement the SCRUM Methodology in our company we are using it since it was known as Clubhouse.io, the user-friendly interface and flexibility is great

Shortcut is a more robust platform to organice our teams and, it uses the "kanban model" as trello but the customization and the organization via stories and epices are preferred by our devs
