HP StoreFabric CNA's, dependability and performance are the keys to success
Use Cases and Deployment Scope
We use both the HP 3PAR SAN and Nimble/HP SAN in conjunction with HP StoreFabric CNA's. Both SAN's are availble company wide, both local and via VPN. By using the HP SF CNA's we the Ethernet, iSCSI, and Fibre Channel connections are consolidated onto a single converged network adapter.
Pros

Cons
- The price is pretty high when compared to other CNA's, but we choose dependability and performance over cost
Likelihood to Recommend
Do you need to combine the functionality of a NIC (Ethernet/iSCSI) and Fibre Channel HBA onto a single adapter and reducing the number of adapters and cables and space used as well as a [reduction] in operational, power and cooling costs while preserving your existing Ethernet and Fibre Channel infrastructure? Then look into HP SF CNA's, they are a great fit in most data centers. HP StoreFabric CNA's have undergone HPE interoperability testing for connecting HPE ProLiant servers into storage and networking environments.
