MuleSoft Review
Use Cases and Deployment Scope
Basically, I use it not for my organization, but I use it to implement for other companies. So one of our companies is in financial industries in South America and I implemented to gather the data from their basic software databases and connected via the sales cloud platform.
Pros
- Since it is based on natively Salesforce, we do not require a custom integration and the data remains within Salesforce servers. So basically clients with many compliance issues such as financial services or healthcare, they prefer going with MuleSoft.
Cons
- I believe, I'll not count this as cons, but the problem is we do not have such much articles or resources to help the team develop and work around it. So that is one of area of improvement that we can work on, but especially the product, I don't think there are any cons to the problem it solves.
Likelihood to Recommend
If your system is very legacy and you want to move your data, you do not need to move your data, you want to connect it via the data platforms, you can use it, but in case you want to use this as an independent platform, independent tool, you do not need to buy the license. You can just stick to your new systems and you your buildings. Suppose if you're in the banking business for a long time, you can just use it to integrate. But if you are new and you are trying to integrate a technology such as sales for CRMs, it is not mandatory for you to use. It is just for helping the clients to migrate from their legacy systems.
