Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Premier Construction Software for accounting and project management. Premier Construction Software offers native workflows that allow comprehensive reconciliation and simple communication and approvals between internal project managers, accounting staff, customers, and subcontractors.

Pros

Division and Location separation or inclusion on financial statements
Reporting options

Cons

Workflows could be more customized
Invoice and Subcontractor portals could be easier to use
Blanket changes across jobs when a policy/template is changed

Likelihood to Recommend

Premier Construction Software is well suited for general contracting as well as specific trade contracting with large volumes of business. Premier Construction Software may not be well suited for companies who require tracking serial numbers of inventory

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Jonas Premier to track costs to jobs. We hold all documents pertaining to each job within Jonas. We use workflow to take advantage of being as paperless as we can. This allows for easy access to project managers who work in other states.

The system will bill and email the client directly. We use a custom tab to keep track of the ever-changing needs of each lending institution. We have added the lien waiver that pertains to that particular institution within the system.

Pros

Job Dashboard gives you a great summary of that job at a glance. I can even pull direct reports based on the fact that there are drill-downs.
I can go right to the receipt with the GL report drill-down capabilities.
Workflows make the product accessible from anywhere for approval when I have people on the road.
Dragging and dropping reports to in AP will then go to documents under the job it is attached to.

Cons

There is not a great option for lien tracking at this point.
When printing waivers, you have to go an repick everything in your check run.

Likelihood to Recommend

The financial statements from Jonas Premier are quick, easy, and even pretty! It gives me a wide variety of statements I can present to management, depending on how they would like to see things (high level or details, current vs budget, yr over yr, etc.).

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We currently use Jonas Premier in all aspects of our organization. As a commercial painting company, Jonas Premier allows us to manage and track information for projects, vendors, and customers. One problem that Jonas has solved for us is processing accounts payable and receivable in an organized way. We love the Sub Pay App feature, that allows our subcontractors to invoice us in an easy and streamlined way.

Pros

Jonas has features that make managing every aspect of a project possible. This eliminates the need for multiple software and makes all the information easily accessible for all departments.
Jonas is constantly improving and adding new features to fit their customer's needs. The Sub Pay app is an example of this and has helped our workflow tremendously.

Cons

We would love to see the interface continued to be improved visually and made more customizable.
We would like a reporting feature for the Sub Pay App automatic email delivery. This will help us keep track of links that are not getting to our subcontractors.

Likelihood to Recommend

Jonas is well suited for the construction industry and for trades that work in construction. The functionality and features are set up to streamline the processes that take place daily, weekly, and monthly. You are also able to manage the big picture and track your company's information for multiple years, making it a scalable software. Our administration and project managers can streamline work from the field to the office through Jonas and we feel that is one of the biggest benefits to Jonas.
