Overall Satisfaction with Cisco Catalyst 8000 Edge Platforms

In our organization, We use these Cisco Catalyst 8000 Edge Platforms catalysts as distributed switches (edge towards the customers in this case)

Pros

  • (inter VLAN) Routing
  • Securing the access ports

Cons

  • Functionality wise, I cannot think of anything
  • It's a very very strong beast. So little operational costs
