Overall Satisfaction with Cisco Catalyst Center

Cisco Catalyst Center is used as a single reference point for catalyst switches for health monitoring and management. Patch deployment, system status, and eventually configuration management will all be organized through CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate).

  • Menu navigation
  • Functionality in isolated environments
  • Scaling on demand
  • Upgrade deployment with limited staff or time
  • Deployment requires training of staff, CCNA is not immediately intuitive.

Large or medium scale network deployments where the amount of devices is disproportionate to the available staff to manage them. It would be less appropriate in small scale environments due to the cost.

Cisco Catalyst Center Training

It was informative, but the labs were not available long enough for us to get intimately familiar with CCNA before it was closed. The course instructor was well informed and got us as close to ready as she could.
