Overall Satisfaction with Cisco Catalyst SD-WAN

We use it to shape network traffic. It helps with automation and onboarding network devices

Pros

  • The zero touch provisioning
  • Scalability
  • Integrating other Cisco devices

Cons

  • Non Cisco device integration
  • Price point for small businesses
  • A bit complex with the management
  • Increased network performance and uptime is crucial.
  • Zero touch provisioning once set up is amazing. Significantly cutting down the install times which saves money and resources.
  • Centralized management is everything, allowing my IT team to reach one GUI to manages all system.
Although it has some great features and performance is great , if the knowledge is the system is not there it is hard to truly understand the system with out experience and since smaller businesses might not be able to afford the tech it will be difficult for techs to to get training and experience

It’s not suited for smaller businesses that do not have a big IT department. Due to the initial complexity and price point.
