Overall Satisfaction with Cisco Meraki Dashboard

We monitor our networks through the dashboard. We look at firewall uptime and use it to troubleshoot network issues.

Pros

  • Network uptime
  • Switch profiles to setup identical switch
  • Troubleshoot tools to help find problems

Cons

  • I would like to see dark mode
  • I like that it's all in one dashboard. We can see all of our network devices on 1 dashboard rather than having to use more than one
The dashboard is very functional. You can check ports and reboot ports on the switch, You are able to run packet captures on each port or it can ran on the whole switch. You are able to filter by vlan and even device type, which is handy.

I like how the dashboard now has AI built in with recommendations on steps to take to fix an issue. I also like that you can look in the DHCP and ARP on the switch to see what is handing out IPs on the network. That gives us the ability to find rogue DHCP servers on the network.
