Overall Satisfaction with Cisco Nexus Dashboard Fabric Controller

Solved many problems with datacenter automation. Telemetry and configuration are now simple. We use it to manage switches like Nexus, and to configure the whole fabric was easy and fast.

BGP peering, firewall function, and policy to introduce the NAT feature on the datacenter. Also, PBR and routing are integrated.
Low latency, fast convergence of OSPF IGP routing table. A large number of network ports on the Cisco switch and high performance.
GPO configuration to provider policy; otherwise, anycast gateway configuration with ACLs is perfectly suited for the datacenter configuration.
Zero-trust VPN and interconnection for the client and other devices. Also, the VXLAN port profile is simple and useful for integrating security. We also use security on BGP peerings.
  • Cisco Evolved Programmable Network Manager (Cisco EPN-M)
Cisco Nexus Dashboard Fabric Controller is much more efficient and programmable; EPN is like template-ready software without automation. Instead, NDFC is very useful during configuration and deployment.
