Overall Satisfaction with Cisco SD-WAN

As an ISP, Megacable has faced the problem of how to separate the data produced by our customers from the data produced by our internal tools, such as billing systems, provisioning, monitoring; especially on the sites with very limited infrastructure. By deploying an SD-WAN Network over our MPLS network we have been able to address this issue so now we can have these two types of traffic separated on the access side and critical data will not get compromised.

Pros

  • Provide private connectivity between two points over a shared network
  • Enables us to deploy solutions with very minimal infrastructure and investment
  • It provides a secure way of transporting critical data with ease

Cons

  • Licensing Scheme
  • Secure Connectivity
  • Low Infrastructure Cost
  • Quick return of investment
  • Fortinet FortiExtender
Flexibility and Scalibility
As part of our support contract on all of our Cisco devices the support service has been great, I don't have any complains about it.
