Overall Satisfaction with D&B Credit Insights

My organization used D&B Credit Insights to improve our credit relationships with new vendors. New vendors are often looking for our previous credit history with other vendors. D&B Credit Insights offers an easy way for potential vendors to quickly verify credit worthiness from a trusted source.

Pros

  • Detailed credit scores and ratings for my organization.
  • Extensive payment history from my organization's vendors.
  • Insights on other organizations credit history.

Cons

  • Changing principals in company operations is extremely difficult. I still have not removed a retired principal.
  • Better explanations for why updates to company information have failed. I generally get a generic message that is not useful.
  • The documentation process is very difficult. It generally takes D&B over two weeks to review submissions.
  • My delinquency score has improved from 94 to 99.
  • My failure score has improved from 82 to 96.
  • Vendors are able to get more credit information about my organization.
The overall usability of D&B Credit Insights is good. Sometimes I have issues with access to the sight. The sight may crash when its loading D&B Credit Insights. In general, I find the site easy to use and navigate with very little confusion.

D&B Credit Insights allows an organization to improve their credit score. It is great for companies who already have established credit terms but may not have kept up with improving their D&B scores. Small companies may find D&B Credit Insights challenging because it requires established credit relationships with vendors. It can be challenging to have D&B approve your documentation as a small business.
