Overall Satisfaction with F5 BIG-IQ Centralized Management
In my opinion, it has been pretty undependable and is the most difficult product to keep up to date. In my experience, upgrades are a giant pain and never go well. I believe central manager is going to be the product to replace this, but I want to be sure it is nothing like this this product. "Big IQ 3.0" if you will.
Pros
- It does work for licensing well, though tons of custom SKUs
- It does work for backups
Cons
- Everything else about it is no bueno
- It has caused issues with BIG-IP's trying to get stats, so we turned this off
