Overall Satisfaction with F5 BIG-IQ Centralized Management

Mainly inventory, license management, and certificate management. F5 BIG-IQ Centralized Management helps us maintain an inventory of our BIG-IP estate. Additionally, it offers our other teams the ability to query the estate to find what devices host which configurations.

Cons

  • pushing configurations to devices
  • re-using configuration options, like profiles
  • We were hoping to use the product more to re-use configurations across devices
  • Enabling licensing for our VE's has been simple
It's easy to navigate, but not overly useful.
  • F5 BIG-IP SSL Orchestrator
It doesn't stack up at all. The orchestrator is much better at handling all of the things we need

The F5 BIG-IQ Centralized Management is really great for keeping archives of configurations of all managed devices. It's not so good at deploying those configurations across environments
