Overall Satisfaction with IBM Apptio

in my previous job, the issue we had is to trace back the charge back to the cost pool

  • centralize all costs for it componenent
  • create systematic way to track expneses

Cons

  • TCO analysis
Overall Apptio is great tool assuming all the data feed is reliable and updated accordingly.
  • It provides customer insights on the chargeback
  • It provides service providers on the cost change and helps to identify cost saving opportunities
We used it for forecasting however there are so many levels of details which make the process time consuming
In general they are very responsive and knowledgeable
