Overall Satisfaction with IBM Guardium

We're using IBM Guardium as or primarily DBF product within the organization, for both audit the DB transactions, and to enforce security rules to avoid malicious insider incident

  • Reducing resource consumptions from remote hosts
  • Good search bar

  • System overall monitoring and broad review
  • Limited CLI commands
  • Some procedures are not intuitive for an un-experienced client
  • Fully answer our regulatory needs

Overall, IBM Guardium is providing what is intended to do. It is not the most perfect intuitive GUI, but with a good pre-sale/PS to implement the system, thing are working eventually well. Adding some broad monitoring of the appliances + STAP health and LB capabilities are required.
