We use Ideagen InPhase for reporting and managing patient safety incidents. We are able to use the platform to identify trends and themes across the trust in order to find areas to focus on.

It provides tools to further breakdown information
It analyses data to be used within reports
It provides an overview of all incidents and themes them

Cons

To be able to customise reports and save as individual templates
Often takes numerous times when clicking on areas to load
It can be slow which is frustrating

Return on Investment

It is easier to see information on numbers of one page
It breaks down information in to different timescales: Daily, monthly, quarterly and yearly which is really helpful and is a massive saving on time spent pulling information for reporting purposes

It is intuitive and aesthetically pleasing. It is customisable based on the needs for the business. You can customise reports to contain only what information is needed.
