Overall Satisfaction with Oracle eBusiness Suite

Oracle eBusiness Suite is used across the enterprise for ERP and financials to run our manufacturing and service groups.
  • It took some training and time but it is well suited for our service business - both in-house repairs and field service. I look forward to eventually using the latest 12.2.8 version in the next few years.
  • It is well suited for our manufacturing sites to build products efficiently. Both in moving the product through the build, collecting data and costs on processes.
  • Sometimes there are error messages that have no meaning and do not point you to the real issue.
  • We are on an earlier version, so I look forward to our eventual upgrade to be able to use the newest features.
In our original project we had looked at SAP and one additional software package. Neither had the depth that Oracle eBusiness Suite did at that time.
In the service business, we do not really use the true RMA. We have worked around it since it is required. It does a fine job of collecting the costs throughout our build processes.
