Overall Satisfaction with Oracle EPM Cloud

I am helping my client move from on-prem to Cloud EPBCS with guidance to adopt as many of the out of the box frameworks as possible.

Pros

  • Reliability
  • Ease of use
  • Consistency with prior product to enhance user adoption

Cons

  • More flexibility within the frameworks
  • Transparency in performance optimization
  • More flexible migration options to exclude cubes in prod.
There were some difficulties but Oracle has proven to be a reliable partner that will help us deliver and keep promises of improvement.

It’s been a long time since I’ve developed this product. While it was more Excel based and therefore accounting friendly, it’s really been eclipsed by Oracle in every way.
I would strongly recommend migration to the Cloud for new customers, existing customers that can adapt to the frameworks, and clients with flexibility in improving the way they use the product for peak performance.
