Overall Satisfaction with Pardot Marketing Automation
Pardot Marketing Automation is used within ExtenData to support marketing, customer service, and partner relationships. One person, myself, interacts with the tool to support the multiple goals. The tool is mostly used for lead generation, and prospect engagement. Pardot allows for many campaigns to be managed and executed and increases my capacity. In addition, it creates prospects for sales that are highly qualified before hand off.
- Email drip campaigns are easy to set up. The user interface is constructed in a logical way and does not create barriers to swift completion of a drip campaign.
- The SalesForce integration is great! Using the SFDC integration allows me to be agile with marketing and provides more collaboration between sales. In addition, my sales team is pumped when they can see what a prospect is doing. It allows them to be better at their job and close sales faster.
- Overall an user interface is simple and easy to on-board. A savvy marketer will LOVE this tool. Better than Marketo by far!
- The selection of images during email and page setup could use a visual interface rather than a file name selection.

We evaluated Marketo and Pardot. Pardot won because of their company culture and professionalism as well as the functionality of the tool and detailed customer on-boarding plan. Marketo sales team was bossy and pushy. Marketo was complicated and cumbersome. The SFDC integration for Marketo was awful.
