Sage 50 Complete Accounting

Overall Satisfaction with Sage 50

It was being used specifically by the Business Operations department, as our main accounting software.
  • It was very user friendly. I only used it for nine months, and within six weeks I had mastered all of the functions that I was using daily.
  • I never found anything that I wished it could do that it couldn't.
  • I can't think of anything off hand - the functionality was precisely what I needed it to be.
  • It certainly increased efficiency. The fact that the three of us in the department could use it simultaneously on different tasks and all be on the same page financially was invaluable.

I wasn't the one who made the decision to go with it at my old company, nor will I be here. If I have the option, I would probably choose it again, but I don't imagine that I will have the option any time soon.
As previously mentioned, I used it strictly for fairly basic accounting: keeping track of multiple accounts, sending invoices, recording payments, etc. I think that it is perfectly suited to do those things, so if someone was looking for a way to accomplish those tasks I would recommend Sage 50.
