SAP S/4HANA Cloud is a best choice for SAP ecosystem
Overall Satisfaction with SAP S/4HANA Cloud
Currently we are using ECC server from which we are moving to SAP S/4HANA Cloud for our various SAP systems. SAP S/4HANA Cloud server is much more reliable and performance focused server so that we don't need to create multiple set of master data for each system which indirectly impacts the performance. SAP S/4HANA Cloud server also gives real data insight as we have all the transactional records in one single space.
Pros
- Well appropriate for SAP products we use like SAP SCM, SAP SD, SAP HCM
- Well designed architecture so that no need create multiple set of master data to compromise the performance
- The data lake will have all the transactional data for getting real time analysis and insight
Cons
- Very costly for small and medium scale organizations
- Complexity while migrating data from legacy systems like mainframe
- Trainings are not widely available and costly as well
- Surpasses many well reputed applications in terms of performance and data insight when you are into SAP products
- More reliable and secure as we are not going to create multiple copy of master data, one single shared master data and all will work like charm
- For authentication we can also use Microsoft MFA or Google single sign-on , so less complexity
- For customized business process, we can implement extension packages which are like templates
- Cloud Solutions
- Scalability
- Integration with Other Systems
I found is as more reliable and performance oriented application for most of the complex systems. In terms of scalability also it is the best solution. When it comes to integration it doesn't work as expected as it's very difficult and complex to integrate with legacy applications like mainframe we have.
I heard about it but never used that extensively.
