Overall Satisfaction with TIBCO Spotfire

We are using Spotfire to build an integrated solution with our product suite.

Pros

  • Good visual Analytics
  • Good integration API.

Cons

  • Better documentation.
  • Adding more chart types.
It is very good tool for third party integration. Spotfire has great Mashup API and software development API for extracting data through SOAP based API.

The GIS integration is exemplary as well.

In regards to the areas of enhancements you mentioned (additional charts, better documentation), have you considered submitting or voting for them in the Spotfire Ideas portal (ideas.spotfire.com)? The Spotfire Idea portal allows you to submit your own ideas, vote on suggestions from others and easily see when one of your ideas have been implemented.
