Vertex AI is used for Generative AI features such as summarizing notes and call logs or getting email suggestions on how to improve or change the tone. It also helps extract, outline, and classify data from spreadsheets.

Pros

  • It's great in handling large context window to extract, summarize, and classify data.

Cons

  • It sometimes hallucinates, doesn't follow the instructions, and gives unexpected responses.
  • Vertex AI provides new customers with a free credit worth $300, which is a great way to start testing the prototype before moving to production.
The Performance of Vertex AI is excellent. I never had issues related to the slowness of pages or getting delayed responses from the AI.
