MidVision
MidVision was established in July 2008 by Richard Bettison and Dave Sayers. They developed an ARA tool which was soon to be called RapidDeploy. It has undergone various permutations, but remains a market-leading technology that reduces deployment times.
Development of RapidDeploy began at Lloyds Banking Group, and in line with this, the vendor says it provides a highly secure and reliable build, release and deployment automation across complex multi-tier environments. It integrates with a number of technologies, and works across a large range of infrastructures, with tailored solutions available on demand. MidVision have now broadened their offering, in partnership with IBM, to provide IBM WebSphere on a pay as you go basis on the cloud.
