  • message testing
  • survey responses
  • larger pool of IT users
It would've been nice if they had a larger pool of IT admins, since our ideal customer profile is those who manage the communication tools at various companies, but not those who are CTOs or CIOs.

Wynter seems to be well suited for quickly crowd sourcing the thoughts and first impressions of target audiences in a variety of industries, and even gathering survey results if your company wants to write a "report" or whitepaper.

We have not used Wynter for more than just landing page copy testing but the ability to customize questions to our liking was a huge bonus.

Wynter helped us get insights from our target personas that we used to shape our messaging and website copy. We have used Wynter to test multiple versions of the website and implemented changes with the help of the feedback we received. It is otherwise difficult to quickly access this persona and receive quality feedback on a short timeline.
  • Speed of responses from participants
  • Easy to use interface
  • Identifies good candidates
  • Solid and responsive customer service
  • In my opinion, doesn't have a deep pool of respondents for all titles, but growing
  • I think the website look could be modernized
  • In my experience, customizing questions sometimes a little tricky, but works
Wynter is great for getting quick feedback on iterations of messaging, copy, and collateral. It worked very well for our website development and message testing, giving us valuable external insights. If the persona you're looking for is available via Wynter, you'll get good feedback fast on the questions you wish you could get answers to from the market.

I've used Wynter at 2 B2B SaaS companies where we needed immediate and impactful feedback on messaging, content marketing, and sales material. The participants are high caliber and speedy, and don't hold back on how to improve the messaging or positioning.
  • Messaging feedback
  • Recruiting high quality respondents
  • Providing good templates for tests
  • More options to engage with the participants outside of just a survey
  • Beta AI features still buggy
Best suited for B2B companies that need quick and structured feedback on messaging. Great news is that Wynter has a great repository or question bank where you can choose from well-performing questions. Not as well suited for D2C brands (yet). The beta AI features still have some kinks, too, but are generally helpful.

We are a small, two person company that offers UX design services for small software teams. We use Wynter to validate ideas we have about our potential clients: We used it to field a buyer intelligence survey to better understand how our clients think about what we sell and make our offer more compelling; We also tested an initial landing page concept to figure out where the holes in our pitch were.
  • It helps get you outside of your own biases
  • It helps see where real people's expectations align with your priorities
  • It helps you avoid obvious mistakes in your marketing
  • When we used it, it felt like kind of a nothingburger product; there isn't much to it. Which did make me question whether or not the company had any perspective or expertise in their core area of customer research.
  • I found the sample questions pretty basic. Again, expertise. I wasn't confident I was asking the right questions, but the ones provided felt too simple. I would have appreciated more guidance.
  • I did often wonder about the quality of our participants. We just have no idea how much they are paid and if they're taking the survey because they have nothing better to do.
I think it's super useful to have your business form out of a conversation with actual customers; too many people spend too much time inventing products and services in a vaccuum. I've had a number of colleagues compliment us on how solid our offering feels, and at least some of that was informed by our Wynter surveys, and a lot of it was inspired by hearing real stuff real people said.

We've struggled to nail our unique value prop in a way that's succinct, but also encapsulates the complexity of our work. For years we've played around with various combinations internally, but could never get it to land. I heard about Wynter via Chris Walker and it was a right place right time, as we've engaged with a publicist that we only thought could be effective if we had a really clear grasp of what resonated with our ICP and want we felt represented us and differentiated us in the market.

We started with a poll asking questions about some of our hypotheses and getting open ended answer about phrases our ICP would come up with to describe our work.

Next we used those takeaways to create landing page tests to see what landed.

Finally, we're fleshing out a full new website in a pre-production environment to see how we did overall.
  • Targeted survey groups of our exact ICP
  • Easy to digest survey results
  • Various feedback types to drill down on useful data
  • More pricing transparency as you're building the survey so you don't add a ton of questions then get to the checkout and you're way over budget
Perfect tool for what it promotes itself as and for what need.

We use Wynter all the time to test our messaging. Landing pages, booth headlines, email copy etc. As a young-ish start up with a wide target persona we've struggled to really get our messaging just right. Wynter has allowed us to really cut out some of the "noise" and focus on in the pieces that our prospects react to the most.
  • Speed to feedback - you have actionable insights in 24-48 hours
  • Targeting - was really great to see both area of expertise, title, company size and industry all as options to select for reviewers
  • Quick launch - they make it super easy and simple to get a test out the door
  • Viewing results - I'm sure the upgrade package is better than the standard one we use, but its not always easy to digest all the feedback you get.
Landing page copy testing. Instead of just running an A/B test on the page it self (sacrificing potential conversions) we like to test the messaging out on Wynter first, so can get the best possible version as our first version, and then start A/B testing from there.

Booth headlines - with such limited space on a small booth, it was great to get feedback as to what would actually catch their eye and stop and read more or ask questions.

We were undergoing a big strategic shift in category, positioning, messaging, and audience. We used Wynter to battle test and sanity check a lot of what we were planning from a launch standpoint. After a couple iterations (and plenty of great feedback from the Wynter panel), we were able to take everything to market with high confidence and extremely quickly. I don't know how we would have been able to do that without Wynter.
  • Message testing
  • Executive feedback
  • Design & UX feedback
  • Engagement with reviewers
I can't imagine not using Wynter when you're planning a strategic shift in messaging and positioning. Instead of flying blind and hoping for the best, you can get real feedback from the audience you care about and ensure you have meaningful resonance with them.

At [...], we utilize Wynter to streamline our landing page testing process.

The platform effectively addresses the challenge of optimizing conversion rates by enabling us to create and test various landing page iterations. We rely on Wynter to conduct A/B tests, analyze results, and make informed decisions to enhance our marketing strategies. Its scope within our use case encompasses the entire landing page optimization workflow, from design to analysis.

  • Landing Page Testing
  • HomePage Testing

  • Understanding what problems our ICP is facing
  • I had no issues with Wynter or their customer support

Wynter has been an invaluable tool for quick but robust directional research. We have used the platform to test initial brand messaging, rebranding candidates, and website copy with very specific target audiences for our B2B clients. The audiences Wynter accesses are invested in the process and provide high quality feedback which can be a real challenge otherwise. And the pricing model keeps the tools accessible to small-to-midsized marketing agencies. We are looking forward to expanding our use of the platform this year.
  • Easy-to-use platform
  • Quality respondents
  • Accessible pricing
  • Quick insights
  • More audience categories
Wynter is exceptionally well suited for getting deep qualitative feedback and a few quantitative metrics on brand messaging, website copy, landing pages, and advertising copy. We are just getting ready to use the video user testing and look forward to seeing how the results help us improve the UX of our project. There are also capabilities I haven't yet used and can't speak to.

We use Wynter mainly to test copy ideas and validate our messaging guidelines with our target personas. We have also used it for surveys and landing page testing.<br>The problem that Wynter solves for us is getting our message in front of our buyer personas quickly and assertively so we know our campaigns and other marketing efforts are heading in the right direction.
  • Provides quick access to your buyer persona
  • Provides multiple testing options for different types of validation
  • Provides good segmentation options for higher assertiveness
  • The interviews are still not as easy to get as the other types of input
  • Sometimes, depending on your target audience, they still don't have enough people
Wynter is the perfect tool for when you want to validate general messaging guidelines, copy ideas and landing pages; It's also great for when you want to learn more about your persona's challenges, goals and preferences.

Where do I start... Wynter is arguably the most useful tool for any Product Marketer. If your messaging falls flat, nothing else really matters. Wynter helps me test our messaging, and well... and brings me back to earth. I use it to test landing pages, send quick surveys to our ICP, and watch people navigate our website—a humbling experience worth millions.
  • Landing page messaging test
  • Target customer surveys
  • User testing
  • Increase the amount of available panelists.
If you don't use Wynter today, you're most likely throwing money out of the window. If you're a startup, this should be the #1 tool you allocate budget for. Forget the rest.

We have used Wynter to test messaging frameworks, positioning statements, and web pages across a number of different target personas.
  • It allows us to tap into a vast testing audience across many different personas
  • It allows us to quickly get feedback on messaging we need to validate
  • The platform is easy to use
  • We also benefit from research advisory services
  • New test options are welcome, including testing raw messaging
Wynter is an awesome tool to get quick and well-informed feedback on your messaging. It works best for relatively concise messaging. It is less suited for longer-form marketing assets. Wynter is also great for conducting market research - a newer option they have added to their platform.

We've been using Wynter for a year—it's helped us rebuild our messaging across our website and marketing materials. We also ran one-off surveys to get more insight from target buyers. Hugely helpful.
  • Great sample of the right personas
  • I like the credit system instead of an annual "use it or lose it" model
  • Easy to use
If you're a startup trying to figure out your messaging and what resonates, Wynter is critical.

Wynter allows us to do customer testing in various ways. The problem that Wynter has solved best for us is understanding whether or not our messaging on web properties resonates with our customers. We have used it primarily for testing our homepage messaging but also for landing pages. We recently used Wynter for sourcing demos of our ICP as well while the program was in beat. This process was slower and less successful.
  • Building customer segments
  • Highlight and aggregate feedback
  • Customer service
  • UX for sourcing demos
  • Volume of audience for sourcing demos
  • Pricing and packaging
Wynter is ideal when you are doing "high-pressure" message testing where live traffic with A/B audiences isn't effective. Similarly, it's a great way to gather prospective customer data when you don't have access to a customer base for your questions or the cost of sourcing them yourself would be too high.
