Engagedly has a huge range of possibilities and we chose it because of all the functionalities it offers. I'm not marking my rating a 9 or 10 because of the UI. If you're an active user (e.g. in the people department) then you get used to the UI fast enough. However, if you only use it twice per year (like all our other users) it can be difficult to find what you need. That being said, Engagedly offers a truly broad range of HR-related functionalities and we're very happy about that!

Lattice works very well for our two primary purposes: Performance Management and Employee Satisfaction. On the employee satisfaction surveys, we are able to capture comments as well as quantitative ratings. We are able to maintain anonymity for respondents and cut the data based on several descriptors. Lattice was a bit overbuilt for small companies. There were many features built in that we did not use. Lattice has a virtual suggestion box feature but it actually only generated an email window for the user. I would have preferred the suggestions to be sent within the system and maintained in the system rather than externally via email

  • Giving me up to date information and tasks that enable me to complete necessary training experiences.
  • Giving me a user friendly interface/platform that allows me to communicate with coworkers, supervisor, etc.
  • It notifies me when I have things to do, and when I have completed necessary tasks.
  • It gives me a bank of completed tasks so that I can chronologically follow my progress over time as I have been with my organization.

  • reports in all sections aren't always user friendly
  • no help videos in the new U.I
  • The survey module is quite basic, you cant set up surveys with answers that lead to different routes, i.e. if no ask this, if yes ask that

  • The interface is a little bit difficult to navigate. I think the home page could be more streamlined.
  • There is no way to check off or complete goals. It just reminds you forever until you delete them. There should be a way to have a list of completed goals.
  • The org chart could be clearer, although it's possible that it's just how my company is doing it.

Absolutely! We love engagedly because we haven't faced any kind of lagging or such issues in website. It also has a convenient app through which you can access everything. They are very polite and address to each and every query relating to software which may cause hinderence in the process.

Lattice Support is not that good. We have had to have calls with them in the past and their product team did not have a lot of knowledge about their product. I believe they are able to provide a much better level of service and that would increase my likelihood to work with them again.

We used SharePoint Forms to make customized forms for ourselves but it did not work well. Our IT needed to build a system from scratch with a help of an external developer team and they were simply not capable of creating something that complicated. Engagedly already has a great platform and it was a life saver for us that we can just start using after the streamlined implementation period for a brief period of time. With SharePoint, we kept having weekly meetings for over 1.5 years to fix bugs, add necessary functions, etc. after the implementation.

We previously used ADP's Performance Mgmt module and found it to not meet any of our needs. In the fall of 2020, I sourced/contacted three vendors - Lattice, Goal Span & Performance Culture & had demos of their offerings. Lattice checked all of the boxes we were seeking; implementation was fast & we were able to kickoff our first review the end of November as we normally do - what a huge positive difference we immediately saw!!

  • We haven't used it long enough to calculate ROI (YET), but - we've had EEs who never engaged with performance management before who are excited to use the program
  • It has already provided a better framework to set up goals for our teams
  • Neg impact - limited feed of info from HRIS - requires some manual data to uploaded.

  • The clear ownership of individual goals probably had a positive impact on ROI
  • As this is a people management software, it is hard to gauge the raw amount of impact it had on ROI. But it did foster a sense of community which I'm sure has a positive impact on ROI.
  • Being able to align company, departmental, and individual goals all together has a positive impact on ROI.
