Likelihood to Recommend If you're looking to build an online presence and are able to be profitable while paying for this platform, it's a great platform that typically ranks pretty high on google if you do your SEO well.
I would say if you are a real tiny business with only a select few items, you may not need a platform like EVOx but, you still could utilize it if it seems fitting for your business. It really depends on the business and what they are trying to do.

It provides a complete order cycle out of the box, or you can integrate with your existing order fulfillment. Online shopping models like digital subscriptions or a marketplace are not well suited as it requires a lot of customization

The algorithm to set up the priority of each of the Web Activity with in eMarketing spot is little bit confusing. The catalog load can be simplified. WebSphere Commerce is a huge application - someone needs to spend at least 5-6 years to learn about the whole application. Read full review Alternatives Considered Evolution X feels better built specifically for our industry and helps to provide relevant supplier catalogues, it also opens us up to dialogue with new suppliers and partnerships to form around this. For instance our ACCO account has grown by x8 since we started adding their catalogue by Fusion Data via EVOX.
PrestaShop is all added by spreadsheet and there is no pre-populated catalogue ready to add which means it relies on our in-house capabilities or the supplier to provide feeds to import which not many of them have

We were not locked down to certain integrations and we were able to utilize a lot of the features outside of the box vs using a prescribed set of features and functionality that other tools would force us to use
Read full review Return on Investment With account setup this has saved a lot of time, where typically it may have taken 10 minutes to setup an account, customer can now do this themselves and even make changes, our old site relied entirely on a staff member and this has therefore reduced overhead With exposure to Fusion Data our categories have grown hugely, particularly Beeswift into workwear where we never sold any workwear but the rare incidental from VOW Wholesale, we've been allowed to grow into other categories more frequently with returning customers and new. Read full review For our clients in the apparel industry, the flexibility that WCS provides to scale up really helped their online business to grow tremendously. Our client in the restaurant industry can't quite leverage what WCS has to offer though as it doesn't really fit their shopping model.
