Salesloft is an AI-powered revenue orchestration and sales engagement platform that helps revenue teams generate more pipeline, win more deals, and increase customer value. With Salesloft, sellers can execute all of their digital selling tasks, communicate with buyers, understand what to do next, and get the coaching and insights they need to win all within one platform. Salesloft has operated in the Sales Engagement space for the last several years with continued product innovation in…
Gong and Salesloft have similar features regarding conversation intelligence and call analytics but Gong had a forecasting tool that helps in understanding the overall health of the business. The insights that Gong shows during the forecasting make it stand apart from similar …
We are a user of both Salesloft and Salesforce, but during our review, it was clear that Gong was the market leader in terms of offering AI and actionable insights, being able to create trackers, have transcriptions. The fact that it integrated seamlessly with the above …
Both Outreach and Salesloft allow for call recording but are missing all features that fall under call intelligence, and simply offer the option to go back and listen to calls.
I tried to use Salesloft conversation intelligence and was bumbling around in the interface. It also doesn't give me the insights and analytics like Gong.
My company is currently using Salesloft. I enjoy both systems, however, I do think that Salesloft provides a bit more insight on the history with an account, and a bit more on the analytics side of things.

Chose Gong
pretty high, SFDC too slow, Outreach way better than Salesloft, Clari is for managers as a rep i keep track of that in my own notes. Gong is a platform build for sellers and managers to help progress deals where as the others feel like tools meant to help predict a business not …
Gong has the best AI out of these technologies. Its sequencing capability is a bit more complicated but for a growing SDR or AE team, its a perfect tool with its AI capabilities that we have not seen elsewhere.
Overall, Gong proved to be superior to the use cases that the company needed, and on top of that from what I heard, the pricing was more in line with what the company was willing to spend. Customer service is great but otherwise, we hardly have any issues with the solution, …
GONG is far and above the best product in this category that I reviewed. Everything from our interaction with sales to onboarding and now dealing with customer success has been flawless and smooth. I had previous experience with the platform, and when I re-evaluated, there was …
Gong was already a selected vendor. I have not used or tried any vendors but likely would not look to switch. Why change something that Isn't broken It is a great tool that I really enjoy using.
Gong is the best in the space no question. I don’t think any other platform will gain the majority of market share away from Gong. It is somewhere I would have liked to work a few years ago I’m sure their sales team sold the software like hotcakes. Good stuff!
It is my opinion that the overall user interface and usability of the Gong interface are better in almost every way. While on paper these two platforms do many of the same things, Gong does them all better and in a more user-friendly manner. Some things Gong does not do, like …
Cirrus was so bad. It was slow and never properly added information from Salesforce into the merge fields. I always had to manually update my emails, which was awful. When we implemented SalesLoft and it actually added the merge data in, I couldn't believe it. I can send emails …
We were previously using Mixmax and found it to be generally quite good. We also evaluated Outreach before selecting Salesloft. We chose to move to Salesloft because of a) the size of the company and the reputation in the industry; b) our team members had previous experience …
The UI for RingDNA is much worse. The dialer is clunky, and it's not very user friendly. The cadences aren't as customizable and the overall workflow is poor when compared to SalesLoft. There also isn't a mobile app at all for RingDNA. It felt like the generic version of …
Stacks up well against Outreach but only used Outreach for a short period. Personally Outreach had some features which Salesloft does not, pausing cadences, taking bank holidays into account with cadences, tasks coming due at a specific time not just date, ability to prioritize …
I've used different software to track emails and cadences throughout my sales career. SalesLoft has been the easiest to learn and the team has been very helpful with onboarding all of the representatives on our sales team. Integrations in salesforce are huge as well.
It stacks up very well against its competition but from my use of it, I haven't seen any other solutions that can do what it does with all its integrations and how easy it is to use and set up.
Very similar tools, some better analytics on outreach. outreach is better for putting together team sequences. Salesloft is better for individual send-outs.
Gong is incredibly helpful to recap on what was said. So many times I will go back to re-listen to a call and I will uncover new facts or details that I will directly use in my follow up. this is huge for finding those pain points in discovery. Really can only think of Gong not being appropriate for private internal calls or when a client specifically asked not to be recorded.
Organizations with budget and proper support resources will be able to best leverage the benefits of SalesLoft. Earlier stage organizations with bootstrap budgets would still benefit from SalesLoft, albeit, I personally feel that without the proper RevOp's resources, that SalesLoft potentially loses a bit compared to Outreach.io
The use of cadences allows my team to quickly process calls that have been prequalified by our filters in Salesforce
The live call coaching with "drop in" capability has been useful for quality checking the calls, while allowing us to steer a call in a particular direction if necessary
When you log into your Gong account, it automatically takes you to a page that I find is not necessary. I then have to find the correct page to search for calls
It auto-populates what I am typing but is usually incorrect
May take a while for the recording to be available
Calendaring -- specifically ensuring credit is properly aligned when trying to calendar for sellers as a BDR -- even when using a booking/ calendar availability link (a seller's link -- this is the trouble spot from what I recall and why we can't use some of the helpful link scheduling tools in our org).
Would love to set up some report automation on the management side -- where specific things could be sent to me (e.g., I would love to set up a report that would auto-populate to show how many dials were completed during a power-hour/blitz period that would hit my alerts in the UI or be sent to email/Slack automatically).
A manager-specific view/home screen would be nice but not essential.
Gong is extremely easy to use with a clear UX outlining where to find all necessary details. The additions of call summaries and key points, to the existing recording + transcripts now makes it so much easier to quickly get snapshots of what was said during meetings, something that is especially important when deals or accounts are changing hands. With Gong I can get the coles notes in a fraction of time.
SalesLoft is a fantastic product that will be extremely helpful to any Sales Rep looking to organize their information and stay one step ahead. While it has its shares of quirks and bugs it proves to be an awesome tool for anyone that is in the sales industry.
I give them a 10 because, I have been using Gong for over a year now and have never had issues or concerns go un resolved in a day or two. Their communication is impeccable and their tech support is very hands on and prompt
CoPilot is good software, and the prices were relatively equal between the two. Gong's representative was more hands on in making us feel comfortable switching software and changing our infrastructure to accommodate. It was this care and handholding that put us over the edge. The actual product between the two was marginal and for our needs made no difference.
We switched from InsideSales Playbooks to SalesLoft. Salesloft is much easier to use and more intuitive. We had previously used Inside SalesPlaybooks before they changed their name just so we had the powerdialer plug in in Salesforce then tried implementing PlayBooks and it was a bit cumbersome and not intuitive. We evaluated a few others but SalesLoft was the best choice!
Greater acceptance of a live conversation by our customers, especially the ones that weren't so responsive via email.
Greater understanding of how to better interact with every customer and personalize our workflow for each of them.
An increase in the good spirits among the team, since all participate in the review meetings, they are no longer shy or don't feel victimized anymore when working on improving our skillset.
