Likelihood to Recommend The software is really good for managing inputs and inventory as well as maintaining traceability. The "track picking moves" functionality lets you look into a specific lot or serial numbers and view all the product moves that occurred with that lot. However, some navigation is not intuitive. For example, if I click on an item in the BoM of an assembly, then click the back button to go back to the assembly, the site goes all the way back to the home screen. Some of these quirks mean that there is a learning curve for the software, but overall the tracking is very good.

Read full review Pros Ignore requests for support continue to collect money from users through micro-charges; apps, supports, etc. Offer no support when they do finally respond, saying that it's the app developer's duty. Creates a system that forces people that are good with software systems to pay for support Read full review The new versions (9.2) of JDE has so much open functionality and really gives the user control over the screens and what they want to see. Love that the layout of the screen is really up to the user and what they want to see it along with freezing columns and creating favorites for way access. It is so flexible with the system platforms that it can run on and so easy to customize since it supports so many databases. It is intuitive and does not need to have a lot of training on how to use the software. It's just a great ERP software and one of the better ones I've seen. Oracle is FINALLY starting to listen to the users and SIGs and putting enhancements into the system which makes life easier for us business users. Read full review Cons Community version is sometimes hard to maintain, needs some on-premise knowledge (IT) or having business with an Odoo partner that is sometimes expensive and unreliable. Enterprise version is as expensive as other ERP in the market. Reporting is horrible, not a lot of possibility to integrate seamlessly with a third party BI platform. Read full review The Configurable Network Language (CNC) is a proprietary protocol, and it can be difficult to source resources that understand this language well. It has some inherent limitations with generating PDF or printable files. Most organizations use a third party platform like Creat!form or Bottomline to solve this. No built in credit card processing solution, and no plug-and-play eCommerce or webstore capabilities available. Read full review Usability I would give it an average rating despite being easy to use, but the user interface is very poor and not intuitive at all which makes the whole experience not that good. Also, the system is not mobile friendly at all which is annoying if you want to check something on the go.

Read full review Support Rating Easy - there is NO SUPPORT (like in ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!!!!!!). Even for legally mandatory requirements where the system MUST work, they will gladly take a month to get back to you with a NON-answer. We couldn't even get our bank statements correctly into Odoo for 2 months - leading to no reconciliation and the company accounts were a mess (still are!!) as a result - Completely irresponsible. Have not EVEN had an apology from Odoo - they couldn't care less !!
Read full review Alternatives Considered I selected Odoo because it is all in the cloud online and it is very easy to conect from everywhere, but then it did nos suit what we wanted in other fields and the service was poor,so we deceided to cancel the contract, but never get our money back since november 2020.
Read full review It is simple to use and implement as compared to complex softwares in the market that may take ample amount of time to implement. The budget is also slightly less to provide the same functionality that other softwares are providing. Also having Oracle database that comes with the system is much easier to handle and use and have much security.
Read full review Return on Investment The integration of the support department in the sales processes was easily carried out by implementing Odoo. Improved functionality and UI of the sales and logistics related processes in the company.
