What is AutoMatch?

AutoMatch is a healthcare-specific document management system developed by UCoA (Unicomp Corp. of America). According to the vendor, it aims to provide comprehensive document management solutions for healthcare providers of all sizes, ranging from small practices to large medical facilities. AutoMatch offers a modular architecture that can be customized to meet the specific needs of physicians, medical practices, hospitals, healthcare systems, medical billing companies, healthcare clinics, and ambulatory surgery centers.

Key Features

AutoMatch: According to the vendor, AutoMatch automatically matches secondary claims with the primary payer's Explanation of Benefits (EOB) for efficient viewing and billing. It also offers the capability to convert secondary claims to electronic claims or print and mail them when necessary.

POWERsign: The vendor claims that POWERsign enables electronic patient signature capture for important forms like HIPAA Privacy Notice, Consent for Treatment, and Acknowledgement of Practice Financial Policy. This feature is said to reduce paper costs and labor by eliminating the need for scanning.

POWERscan: According to the vendor, POWERscan supports on-demand, ad-hoc scanning of single documents and batch scanning and indexing. It also has the ability to recognize barcodes on page separators for automatic filing into the correct patient folder.

+COLD: The vendor states that +COLD captures computer-generated data, such as statements and electronic and paper claims, and securely stores it. It parses and indexes the textual data by patient and compresses it for efficient storage.

POWEReob: According to the vendor, POWEReob converts paper Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) into electronic remittance files in ANSI 835 or NSF format. This feature allows for automatic payment posting to practice management software and electronic secondary claims billing.

filEOB: The vendor claims that filEOB offers a unique user interface for indexing paper EOBs quickly. It allows simultaneous viewing of paid claims with the payment posting screen, simplifying the payment posting process.

WebSide: According to the vendor, WebSide provides a web-based user interface for view-only access to the IMPOWER document repository. It utilizes a user-friendly paper filing system metaphor similar to the Windows client.

POWERstation Kiosk: The vendor states that POWERstation Kiosk is a patient self-service check-in kiosk that confirms demographic and insurance information, verifies appointments, triages walk-ins, and collects payments. It supports multiple languages and offers optional scanning of driver's licenses and insurance cards.

POWERstation Desktop: According to the vendor, POWERstation Desktop is a front-end patient registration workstation for practice management and EMR systems. It can scan driver's licenses and insurance cards, capture patient photos, and process credit card payments.
