What is Club Data SQLPos?
SQLPos is a Point of Sale System specifically designed for club offices. It is intended for use in various industries, including golf clubs, tennis clubs, country clubs, restaurants, and retail shops. According to the vendor, SQLPos offers a range of features and functionalities to efficiently manage sales transactions in these industries.
Key Features
User-Designed Screens: SQLPos allows users to design multiple screen layouts with customizable buttons. Each workstation can have its own set of panels, providing flexibility.
Location-Based Grouping: Items can be grouped by location on the screen, facilitating faster item selection for servers. The color choices for grouping items can be customized.
Splitting and Combining Sales: SQLPos includes functions for splitting a sale between customers, merging tickets for customers wishing to pay together, and dividing checks for large groups.
Save Tab and Hold Sale: The Save Tab function stores transactions for later recall from other workstations, while the Hold Sale function allows for suspending a sale and adding items until the customer is ready to pay. The Hold Sale with Send Order feature triggers remote printing to a kitchen or expediter.
Integrated Credit Card Processing: SQLPos integrates with various credit card processing systems, including Merchant Partners, Mercury Payment Systems, or Moneris Solutions. According to the vendor, it offers pre-authorization and close functions for restaurants and general retail sales, requiring a stable internet connection.
Direct Link to Member Accounts: Sales transactions are directly linked to member accounts in Club Office Accounting. According to the vendor, these transactions are viewable on the member's statement within ten seconds after the sale is closed. SQLPos also manages special minimums, prepaid balances, credit book balances, prize money, and gift card balances.
Extensive Functionality: SQLPos provides over 80 ready-to-use functions, allowing customization for each workstation's needs. The Product Out/Push Item function distributes specific informational messages from any workstation to all workstations on the network.
Manager Options and Button Editor: The Manager button provides access to reporting and maintenance options, while the Button Editor is used for designing screens and assigning functions to buttons. Workstations can be configured individually or updated from the main central unit.
System Clock Synchronization and HeartBeat Agent: Workstations synchronize their system clocks to the designated server upon startup. The HeartBeat agent facilitates network communication between the workstation and the main server. According to the vendor, SQLPos can continue to run and provide functionality even if the connection goes down or the workstation is taken offline.
Printing Reports and Exporting Transactions: Employees and managers can print server and sales reports directly to the local receipt printer. The screen is used to export daily transactions to portable storage media for offline workstations. Club Office Accounting includes easy import functions to gather sales data from offline workstations.
