What is Evergent?
Evergent, headquartered in Sunnyvale, offers cloud-based OSS, revenue management, and subscriber management software solutions, using a modular approach to present solutions for telecoms.
Modules include:
Identity and User Management - Evergent enables companies to manage the user acquisition, sign-up, and registration process. Users can sign-up and register as new users, turning anonymous users into known users and then into registered paying subscribers. In addition to the company’s own identity management, Evergent is pre-integrated with a variety of social identity systems such as Facebook, Google, LinkedIn, and Twitter. Evergent’s Identity and User Management Module additionally supports TV Everywhere (TVE) and authenticated TV sign-in that allows users to sign-in using a global cable or telecom login. Once signed in, users can manage their profiles, preferences, and any other sub-accounts within their main account.
Product Management - Evergent’s Product Management Module provides a system for adding new products, packages and promotions with tiered pricing and a broad range of attributes. With it, the user can define an organizational hierarchy for product offerings and bundles, have the flexibility to offer different products, and pricing and purchase flow by geographical area or device platform all while maintaining centralized control for the definition of products. The overall product catalog can be viewed in multiple regions, categorized by type of service and product mix, and then rolled into a comprehensive top-level view.
Operations Management - With Evergent’s Operations Management Module, the company provides the functionality, flexibility, and control so as to deliver and personalize content services. Companies can manage and control a user’s access to content, services, and hardware. Evergent’s entitlements and provisioning services are also designed to supports TV Everywhere, App Store purchases, direct purchase and carrier-based billing.
Revenue Management - Evergent supports numerous payment methods including credit card, debit card, electronic funds transfer, check/electronic check, prepaid/postpaid cards, mobile operator billing, offline cash, money order, and legacy operator billing. Evergent supports more than one hundred and fifty global currencies and allows the user to define different billing areas based on geolocation, and also define daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly billing periods, as well as different billing cycles for each billing period, bill-run status for the given cycle.
Customer Care & Support - The Evergent Customer Care and Support Module offers a self-service support portal that allows users to view and update account information such as billing, profiles, preferences, and credit card information. Evergent also offers a proven Customer Service Representative (CSR) interface for managing accounts via a call center. And finally, Evergent provides a solution to reduce churn that includes account updater services, retry logic, enhanced capture, and dynamic offers to maximize retention.
Reporting & Dashboards - Through the Evergent Reporting and Dashboard Module, a company can leverage its data warehouse function to assess and store data and have the information needed to create reports. The Reporting Module generates reports from customer information. The system can be configured to accommodate reporting and decision-support features customized to specific needs. Output formats are programmed to meet a variety of requirements.
Data and Workflow Orchestration - The Data and Workflow Orchestration Module orchestrates all activities associated with the system, products, tickets, and collections—even those with pre-requisites or time requirements—it helps to manage all data workflow in three ways. First, via data orchestration, it can move data in and out of the system using real-time APIs. Second, administrative capabilities help users to set up a system, and support multiple languages. Third, users can set up multi-tier, multi-division regions. This enables data by region to be aggregated into a single, comprehensive view for better management
