GDevelop is a no-code, open-source and free game-making app. It can be used for profit or non-profit game making. GDevelop runs on Windows, macOS and most recent Linux distributions, or it can be tried online using Chrome, Firefox or other web browsers.

Objects for Games
Use ready made objects from the asset store or create objects from scratch. Choose sprites, particle emitters, texts, videos and many others to build the scenes of a game.
Visual effects (shaders)
Add effects to the layers and objects of a scene. These effects allow changes to the atmosphere and rendering of a game in one click.
Add behaviors to game objects
Dozens of additional behaviors are available through community extensions. The user can import them in one click directly from the GDevelop editor.
Design advanced levels and interfaces
The scene editor lets the user visually edit levels, with access to Piskel, a sprite editor, Jfxr for sound effects, Yarn for dialogues, or integrated assets from the asset store. A debugger is available to inspect the game while playing it.
Live Preview
Press a single button to apply changes to the running game. The user can preview games on other devices (phone, tablets, other computers) using the Network Preview - without having to export them.
