What is Holistic AI?
Use cases include independent bias audits, for instance to remain in compliance with NYC Local Law 144 or the Digital Service Act. The Holistic AI platforms operates based on 5 key AI risk verticals:
- Efficacy - Monitors the risk a model under-performs relative to its use case, including in the presence of unseen data, with model validation.
- Robustness - Detection of the model's ability to perform in the case of adversarial attacks , or handling dataset shifts
- Privacy - The risk that the system can lead to the leakage of sensitive and personal data.
- Bias - The risk of unfair treatment of individuals or groups by the model.
- Explainability - The risk that the AI system may not be understandable to users or developers.
Holistic AI also offers access to the eponymous Holistic AI library, which is an open-source tool used to assess and improve the trustworthiness of AI systems. The current version of the library offers a set of techniques to easily measure and mitigate Bias across a variety of tasks.
The vendor presents their fully hosted and managed solution as the easiest way to benefit from Holistic AI, however the platform can be deployed in the hybrid cloud or in an on-premise IT environment if desired.
