TokenEx has become an ideal solution for businesses looking to decrease their PCI scope and ensure the security of their customer's credit card information. Users have attributed TokenEx to help in storing, tokenizing, and detokenizing sensitive customer data, making their internal PCI footprint much smaller, and reducing their PCI exposure drastically.

The product has helped businesses expedite their token process, getting customers' payment processing up in no time. TokenEx has been used for batch retrieval of credit card and social security numbers, making future checkouts faster and safer. With TokenEx's API, several users have integrated with multiple payment vendors easily, ensuring a seamless integration process. A notable feature of TokenEx is its ability to store credit card numbers securely in a token vault, allowing businesses to exchange secure information like credit card numbers or social security numbers through a PCI compliant interface without storing data. The solution also supports the tokenization of transactions from cloud platforms while allowing migration of credit card data from one system to another.

In addition, TokenEx has been used to exchange secure information between customers and agents in a chat environment. Businesses have found ease in achieving PCI compliance by modifying systems to work with TokenEx, resolving PCI requirements quickly and easily. With Cross-gateway tokenization at a reasonable cost, businesses benefit from decreased PCI scope and increased security while working with multiple payment vendors. Overall, users of TokenEx have reported a positive experience using the product to securely store sensitive customer information while reducing their internal PCI footprint significantly.

Great Support: The majority of users have praised TokenEx's support team for being responsive, knowledgeable, and always available to help. Customers appreciate the technical and non-technical assistance provided by the team, which is considered spot-on and helpful.

Transparent Gateway: Many users find TokenEx's transparent gateway to be a top feature since it allows direct integrations with various parties while still using TokenEx for tokenization. This functionality provides peace of mind knowing that customer data is secure and accessible.

Lower Cost: Several reviewers found that TokenEx offers a competitive per-token cost compared to other token providers. This pricing model was appreciated by users as it helped them save money on their overall payment processing costs.

Limited Reporting Capabilities: Some users have mentioned that the reporting capabilities on TokenEx's website are limited. They have stated that it is not possible to generate specific reports for their end customers, such as a monthly report. Users have also noted that they don't see the usage history past 30 days, and their customers were interested in having more details than just a 30-day report.

Lacking User Interface: A few users found TokenEx's user interface to be lacking in certain areas. They found it a hassle to eventually reset their password, although they understood why TokenEx has this feature since it is a web security company. Another user thought that the two-factor authentication process to login into the DEV region was a pain.

Limited Options in Reports and Filters: Some users felt that the options in reports and filters were very limited, and would like to have more fields to do searches. One user found the sample code library could be more robust, but acknowledged that all necessary information was available in support pages to get the job done.
