Before we moved to IBM Turbonomic, we had to spend a lot of time to integrate our system with 3rd party programs but since we started using IBM Turbonomic, the integration process has become a lot more simpler. So now our IT staff has become more productive as they don't need to waste their time in integrating 3rd party programs.

We've combined our application and operations team as one DevOps team and it has helped us reduce costs, specially in high cost locations. We are spending less time managing infrastructure and have been able to experiment better specially during initial data modelling and engineering phase where our compute needs are the highest.

Yes the automation is highly trusted by our engineering team , and has freed them to work on new projects , instead of always being tied up on long and challenging troubleshooting investigations. Happier engineers , happier end users , and in turn happier managers and directors.

Our work infrastructure was at risk for some years, and there was no software to help integrate monitoring and security tools as Turbonomic does; the IT team can involve different parameters to comply with technological and informational development in all enterprise environments that can handle much specific control in analysis operations in the work infrastructure.

The workload on the IT team is reduced by around 80% in cases of hybrid work infrastructure for our cloud environment, and in our teams, visualizing existing resources is also another important factor of this software and I consider that for the IT team is some of the best software they are using right now.

There are times when it's hard to find performance issues. IBM Turbonomic makes it simple to see records of work. As a result, the application and infrastructure teams can work together more easily because they have a more complete picture of the IT environment. Also the IT team doesn't have to fix the system in order to see how this platform worked.

By providing a single, unified view of the IT environment, automated resource allocation and actionable insights and recommendations, IBM Turbonomic enables application and infrastructure teams to work together more effectively and efficiently, leading to improved collaboration and productivity, and allowing them to focus on more strategic initiatives and higher-value tasks. For example, application teams can gain visibility into the underlying infrastructure that supports their applications. This enables them to better understand the impact of their applications on the overall IT environment and make informed decisions about resource allocation and optimization. Similarly, infrastructure teams can use IBM Turbonomic platform to gain insights into application performance and usage patterns.

Yes. Our own IT Team performances has gone up since they are working on very accurate insights provided by IBM Turbonomic. They are very confident to execute specific actions as the information is on point. As a user, I see the performance of IBM Turbonomic on a weekly basis and it is very clear to observe that the staff capability increase is very much related on the application implementation.

Different mindset and Information Technology approach of the infrastructure teams and application developer teams are totally different. IBM Turbonomic brings together of that teams to use better application resources for the right application performance management. Infrastructure up and application down approach should be cross in a someway and somehow within complex architecture if not both teams goes in their own modernization journey.

Monitoring and Support staff has been benefited the most after the Application Deveopers since now they have visibility into the performance of their apps quickly with root cause findings. However impact on the larger staff such as management, infras support team is not that great due to the fact that they use their own products for their work.

Unifying Infrastructure and Applications team is still a challenge for many IT organizations and Business Companies due to the fact that both the teams have different goals. However the gap of visibility between application and infrastrcuture fault has been reduced to some extent as IBM Turbonomic provides provides visibility not only in Application Performance but infrastructure as well so the Apps team are now aware whether the bottleneck is.

The complexity of the applications that use several resources like distinct databases and API calls to external servers does impossible the task of manual research of the cause of problems. The IT staff needs an Application Monitoring like IBM Turbonomic to respond to what is happening when the users are getting bad service from the applications.

IT staff productivity has been increased. The ability of Turbonomic making changes on it's own improved the response time to an issue (especially after hours). This allows IT staff to focus on other items/projects. Many times we see items after they have already been fixed. We can see what changes Turbonomic has made and then see how the changes fixed an issue without the IT staff having to have hands-on to correct the issue/performance.

Our IT staff productivity has improved and by really great margins. This has been through the automation of processes and automatic performance analyses. We on the other hand just work on fixing faulty deployments and pick insights from performance reports. IBM Turbonomic fills the gap between machine deployments and monitoring for the IT team.

For the most part, Turbonomic has automated mundane tasks such as VMware host resource balancing, etc. however there have been times such as updating Turbonomic that involves quite a bit of IT involvement. Updates used to be streamlined into the product and could be done simply by scanning for new updates in the interface and then applying them. Now the process requires a manual download of an ISO and installation.
