Overall Satisfaction with AlphaSense

We track analyst coverage of our company and competitors. We also use the daily newsfeed features to give daily email alerts on competitive companies, which we use for intelligence/monitoring of the drug landscape. This informs clinical and corporate decision-making.
  • Interface
  • Search
  • Robustness
  • Customer service
  • Daily alert set up is challenging/not intuitive.
  • Analyst coverage
  • Historical company reports
  • Search feature
  • Saved us time
  • Fast
  • Relatively inexpensive
  • Better insights into competitor companies
We use both Cortellis and alphasense. Cortellis has a good database of pharmaceutical molecules that AlphaSense doesn't have. Thomson ONE I've used in the past for analyst coverage. AlphaSense is better covered (all analysts), much better interface, is more userfriendly, remembers searches/saves searches which are useful.

Would you buy AlphaSense again?

Yes

When news press releases come out for our company we want to see how the street reacts. AlphaSense's analyst coverage feature is great, getting quick alerts or easily searching for reports. Can also search old reports/company materials as the search feature in pdfs works extremely well. If needing to do diligence on an external company, AlphaSense is a must.
