Our recruiting team used CareerBuilder to post jobs and source candidates. Typically, we used it when hard-to-fill jobs needed candidates and we would search through candidate profiles and reach out to potential hires.
- Easy to post jobs - Intuitive and painless process.
- Good dashboard with candidate information provides a great picture of what candidates are applying and helps us shape targeting.
- Could use more search functionality - Including additional search parameters would help make finding the best candidates easier.
- Not as many people in candidate pool as other job boards.
- Saw an influx in candidates and about 25-30% mentioned CareerBuilder as the site they applied through.
- Ended up ultimately not providing the right candidates and wasn't worth the cost for our business.
