Overall Satisfaction with Ceridian Dayforce
We use Ceridian Dayforce for Timekeeping and Payroll, Recruiting, Hiring and Onboarding, and just started using the Hub feature. Before implementation, we had a number of separate programs that required integration, i.e., one program for payroll and timekeeping, one program for people management, one program for Recruiting, etc. Now, with a few exceptions (we are not currently able to use the Scheduling module for our needs), everything is managed within one system.
There are many benefits to using Dayforce, especially on the Payroll side. However, there are some major drawbacks/limitations, especially with regards to the Recruiting module and features that are commonplace with Applicant Tracking Systems.
Overall, Dayforce has moved our organization in a good direction, but their sales team provided inaccurate information during the discovery and implementation phase, and Support takes a long time to respond to and resolve tickets.

- Online Training Resources
- Suggestions/AHA Portal
- Hub Feature
- Recruiting Module
- Letter Template Customization
- Use of Preferred Name Throughout System
- Due to Candidate Deactivation and record retention requirements, have had to implement back-up system for candidate data, resulting in additional hours of tracking that should be unnecessary.
- Better communication between Recruiting, HR and Payroll for new hires.
- More candidates completing onboarding materials via Getting Started.
It is much preferred to have one system for payroll, HR, time and benefits, etc. versus staff needing to navigate through many different programs. Even with the flaws observed with the Recruiting module, which seems to have been added as an afterthought, payroll and timekeeping, along with hiring and onboarding, work the way they're intended.
